Thiessen Farms (est. 1947) of Jordan Station, ON includes 3 generations of family working together to grow & market great tasting fruit & vegetables.
We specialize in variety - 5 kinds of sweet cherries, 13 kinds of plums, 9 pears, 23 peaches including white flesh varieties, 2 nectarines, 6 kinds of raspberries and blackberries. Vegetables include many heirlooms - 100 different tomatoes, 25 hot peppers, 25 winter squash ...
We love colour, growing beets, carrots, eggplant & chard in many shades. Herbs and
less common vegetables like fennel, edamame and garlic are also grown.
In spring we grow & sell over 50 kinds of herb plants and vegetable plants including heirloom tomatoes.
Thiessen Farms has been featured in the Hamilton Spectator newspaper, our tomatoes have appeared in Canadian Living magazine, and Anna Olson filmed a segment of her Food Network show "Fresh" in our berry patch.
