March snowstorm

Last week it felt like spring and we were enjoying the first flowers.

This is what we awoke to this morning - looking out the back door.

Last week when I needed the tractor, I removed the snow plow. Good thing I left it close by. Tomorrow I may have to plow snow again!

Meesha was the happiest creature on the farm to see the snow. She spent much of the day running around & rolling in it.

Oliver played the sympathy card, trying to look cold & miserable enough to be let into the shop & greenhouse.

While inside the greenhouse it indeed looks, feels, and smells like spring.

The seedlings are growing well.

To speed the coming of spring - or at least to give the allusion, I went shopping at my favourite garden centre earlier this week and purchased some pansies. I'll pot them up in planters and put them out on the deck as soon as possible.

Looks like spring to me!

  2. You're on of my one lovely blog award nominees. Love the chubby orange cat, by the way.

  3. Thanks Tiffany - that's great!

Oliver appreciates being noticed, though he considers himself to be more svelte than chubby.
